Ground Zero | Nagamese Movie

Movie making from youngsters is catching up in Nagaland, and with a lot of talent as you will see in this movie. There is not much information about this movie anywhere that we can find, except that some of them are from the "Best before 24 months" music video we share on this site some time ago. The actors in the movie did a pretty good job. The acting was very natural. The movie is also nicely directed with nice camera angles. I might guess the people behind this film did not have any professional training. It is highly likely that they can make better movies with good story and scripts.

In this 24 minute movie you will see a lot of action, fight scenes between rival gangs trying to dominate a locality. Enjoy the movie and also behind the scenes (must watch) at the end - it's funny. And I wish they will make more films.

"All wait to watch a film, ‘Beyond the 3rd Kind,’ based on the story of a boy who undergoes sex change and leads a life of a woman. The film is a hard-hitting subject and revolves around the issue of gay sex and unnatural method man is adopting to satisfy his urges.
The story shows the psychological trauma of the “lady boy” (a transgender) and how he struggles to get out of it. But there is no return from where he is now. His journey is full of ups and downs, where his body earns him his living. He starts hating his body and begins soul-searching. What he is now was his decision, but now he is convinced that his decision was wrong.
The film involves characters such as commercial sex workers, models, bar girls, police and touts. The film is a very realistic and with its grey shades, gives very sensitive moods.
The film is co-produced by Rebecca Alemla Changkija. The film is directed by Shiraz Henry.
Rebecca said the movie would be released in ‘many countries.’ The lead role in the film is acted by model Natasha Sikka. The producing team also has director Vivek Sharma, Make-Up man Pradeep Dada and Hair Stylist Selvi. The costumes are by Find Studioz and Yangerla Changkija, also from Nagaland. The music is by upcoming musician Alobo Naga."
