Freestyle football display by experts from North-East India!

"The North East Tamchon Football Trophy is held every year in New Delhi organized by the Tangkhul Naga Society Delhi (TNSD). This tournament is held in memory of (L) Mr. R.N.Tamchon, ACP, Delhi Police under the motto "Excellence with truth and dignity". The tournament is organized on invitational basis with sixteen teams from all North Eastern Region including Sikkim. The main objective of the trophy is to promote unity, friendship, understanding and sportsmanship amongst the people of North East of India".

Towering Faith rocks NagaFest '2012, Delhi
TOWERING FAITH is a Gospel Rock/Metal Band from Ukhrul, Manipur from the North East India.
The band members are:
Vocal & Guitar - Kachingmi Zingkhai.
Drums - Ngahanyui Azaymah.
Lead Guitar - Makhokmi Raleng.
Guitar - Honpam Kashung.
Bass Guitar - Sothingam Shaiza.

It is a platform for all Nagas to come together in Delhi. It was held on 19th September 2012 at Talkatora Stadium funded by an NGO called the Indigenous Foundation (IF). The main purpose of Nagafest is to fight poverty in Naga inhabited areas and to bring all Nagas together, to share the awareness of issues and concerns as a group. It is not a political group but action oriented and plans to take up all cultural, spiritual and economic issues to solve them with immediate and long term needs for the group. "

Delhi in a day (Trailer) | Costume Designer- Narola Jamir
Off and on, we keep hearing Nagas in various creative roles. One such is about a movie called 'Delhi in a day' scheduled to release in cinemas in India on August 24th, 2012. Because it has a Naga lady, Narola Jamir as one of the 'Costume Designer' for the movie.

All praise on Naga Women commandos for CWG security
The Naga Women Commandos were in Delhi to provide security during the Common Wealth Games, . The media was all praise for them. Fell proud for our Naga women commandos setting an example.

The first women police battalion from Nagaland is providing security at venues of the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2010. Around 600 women personnel are patrolling the streets and ensuring maximum security for the mega-sporting event. They are a part of the Indian reserve battalions, formed exclusively for Games duty and will be based in Delhi till October 15.
