NAGALAND AWAKENING! A Glimpse of the ACAUT Rally 2013
ACAUT stands for ACtion Against Unabated Taxation.
The rally was held at Circular Road Dimapur on 31st October, 2013 .
Easily one of the largest public gathering in Nagaland, the rally was a public protest against the illegal taxation levied by the parallel governments (Naga Nationalist groups) and multiple tax paid to the groups. It was organized by ACAUT with the help of The Naga Blog. The protest rally witnessed an estimated attendance of thirty thousand civilians.
The rally was well received by the public calling it a "people's movement", "economic freedom movement", "movement for justice", "a movement of change".

The Naga Blog is a Facebook group created by Yanpvuo Kikon, which, as of today has about 30000+ member following. Through this group people have come together to address various issues faced in Nagaland, bad road conditions being one of them which was also organized in other districts of Nagaland as well.
